After 20 years owning and operating Halfway Lake Cottages, our family is moving on to the next chapter in our adventure! We are looking for the perfect buyer who can carry the vision forward: a place for families and friends to gather, create memories, and enjoy all that Michigan’s Upper Peninsula has to offer!

What will happen to my reservation?
Our guest satisfaction is important to us, and our TripAdvisor ratings prove it! You continue to be our number one priority. As always, we are committed to keeping the cabins and grounds in tip-top shape for our guests! We want to see the business continue to succeed, and are willing to work with a new owner for a smooth transition. Reservations are guaranteed for six months, and the place you’ve come to know and love will remain!

What is included in the sale of the resort?
The sale includes 25 acres of prime property, 1,800 feet of frontage on Halfway Lake, the main house (2,394 square feet), guest house, eight lakeside cottages and two pole buildings. Halfway Lake Cottages has been rated #1 place to stay in Newberry, MI for several consecutive years, and is a well-established year-round business with positive cash flow. The undeveloped land surrounding this 65-acre private lake is also for sale.
